Description

Jack Kirby's most famous shield-slinging characters in the same piece by Steve Rude! For me, there is no modern artist who pays a better tribute to the style of Jack "King" Kirby and this particular rendering of the characters has been on my "must have" list for some time! Crafted in ink and opaque watercolor on 22.5" x 29" Bristol board. Signed and dated in the 18.5" x 25" image area.

If anyone knows if this was ever published please let me know. I've seen the image in the past, but I can't place it. Per Steve Rude, he doesn't think the artwork was ever published.

I don't think it has been published but I do have a memory of it. Maybe it was published in something like TJKC?
