Description

The Amazing Spider-man run in the 1977-1980 range were the ones I followed as a kid and I thought it'd be great to have the original artist do a commission based on issue #197 when Spider-man faced of with the Kingpin while he had an arm in a sling. Only other storyline I recall seeing a hero with his arm in a sling was around the same time period in Marvel Two-in-One when the Thing had an arm cast during the project Pegasus storyline.

Fabulous piece! Love all the details in the room, and the view out the window. The colors on this are amazing!

Looks like a scene right out of the book with the color palette from the interior story. Primary bold colors for the characters and the softer colors for the setting.
