DescriptionI had Romeo Tanghal and Bob Sharen work on the original as the print version wasn't going to work for this one. I figured there's a bunch of Pencil 1980's Starfire commissions out there that I could try them working on this original.Social/Sharing |

"Best of all, It's got Sharen on it!" said Anthony. There are plenty of vintage Perez convention pieces that could use this Tanghal and Sharen treatment.

great looking final result, and it's cool to still be able to see the pencils and inks seperately in the process as a memory of how it all started even though copies didn't work out this time

Romeo added a lot, obviously, but you really NEED to tell him to stop using such shitty tools, Shaun. Geezuz. It's like he feels it doesn't matter since it's not pro work for publishers. But it DOES matter. He does enough commissions that he can afford to buy himself proper inking tools. Come to think of it, even the coloring tools Bob used on this appear to be of far cheaper quality than what he has used on all your other pieces. You've been very generous to the artists you've given so much commission work to, Shaun, and I would still tell them they need to buy quality tools. But barring that, buy the tools for them if you have to.

In this instance there was issues with the vintage paper stock and tgats whe others you like look better because it's on new stock. This one was a tough one.
