Description

Hand-painted dinosaur and mosquito animation cels from Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) used an animated introductory video to explain how he bioengineered the dinosaurs.

This lot consists of a hand-painted animation acetate cel of a brontosaurus and a matching hand-drawn sketch of the same scene rendered in graphite with colored pencil handwritten notes and both marked "Sc 2A A-211"; and a hand-painted animation acetate cel of a mosquito marked "B 211." This lot exhibits the sketch sticking to the brontosaurus acetate cel and grime on the mosquito acetate cel. Dimensions: (each) 12.5" x 10.5" (31.75 cm x 26.75 cm)
