Description

Director of Area 41 Veronica Cale passes along data containing the Tetracide�s song to Dr Poison. Dr Poison is as much a prisoner as anyone else, who can only continue her scientific research while working for Cale. We see her poison cloud entering her suit in the first panel, and in the last panel contemplates what wonderfully horrid things she could do with the weaponized song.

For me, this piece was all about texture - the amorphous gas, the shine on the glass partition, the rubber/metal suit. Composition mastery on display as well.

Love it. Hayden's layouts are inventive but never at the expense of readability and this is a great example of that.
