Description

This is a beautiful 2009 pencil head sketch of Batgirl by Dick Giordano, who drew the character in several titles for DC Comics, including inking her solo adventures in Detective Comics. This drawing was done for Dick's longtime companion Pat Bastienne, which explains the creative dedication and signature. The details in the artwork are amazing, especially in Batgirl's eyes and shading in her lips. It is drawn on 9 x 12 inch art paper, and is in very good condition.
