Description

I've always wanted a Psylocke piece from David Finch, especially after he did the covers to her solo series. Would it be nice to own one of those covers? Hell yes! However, in my eyes, this piece might just be on par and in some ways even better than those covers so I'm more than thrilled to "settle" for this consolation. The attention to detail, the face, the use of her powers, the pose... there's so much to love here.

I LOVE this piece. I wouldn't be surprised if it became a future cover because it's striking. Congrats!

Seriously, he killed it. Love the expression and the HAIR. 2 psyblades...this one's got it all as they say! Agree regarding the pure image rivaling the covers. Huge congrats, man - I know this is BIG for you!

Thank you, sir. I know we can all be a bit biased when it comes to judging our own collections... so it's nice to have someone who has a great eye for art to back up how I feel.

Gorgeous! Love how Finch handled all the textures, reflections, hair, fire effects, and drapery. The face and pose really set the mood and the figure is amazing

Psylocke has everything a comic character could wish to have... and she has it in spades! I still find, though, that she's generally underestimated... which is why, it's so great to see artists of the caliber of David Finch rendering her so well! A true masterpiece!

Such a fantastic find and a great piece of his. Seems like you made the right choice for where to place your art budget. I was watching this piece as well and glad to see on here.

Thanks, buddy. I really didn't anticipate winning this one but the auction stopped right at my max bid. I was happy to win but kind of bummed that I'd be broke during SDCC. Now that SDCC is over... I'm not regretting that decision at all!

Congrats on getting this! I agree that I prefer this to his covers, mainly because he drew her face so that there's a bit of attitude (and a hint of taunting) in her glare.
