Great image - I saw this in person at Heroes the color splash really sets this one off

The little birds in the background nicely offsets all the dark futurism this piece has.

Fantastic illustration of Spider-Man 2099 by Jeffrey Alan Love! I love Jeffrey's work too and am continually amazed by what he is able to achieve with his unique style and limited palette. This is great, with its nod to the super-flexible limbs of McFarlane's Spidey. Love the addition of the single color red to his palette. That simple addition to his style opens up a whole range of new and more expansive imagery. Reminds me a bit of Miller's Sin City where he started using spot reds to open up his black and white palette. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
