Description

Shown here is a gorgeous Mac Raboy Flash Gordon Sunday Strip Original Art dated 11-6-55. In this Sunday, Flash, Dale, and Zarkov take off in their spaceship and quickly learn that their autopilot has been locked, and they lose control until Flash uses his pistol and regains control... leaving Stragg on the frozen planet.

As usual, Raboy's inking control emphasizes the minute detail of the spaceship and ultra-fine "feathering" in the background that is dazzling.

The image area of this scintillating Sunday is 13 x 18" on a larger 15 x 20" art board. Like many of the FG Sundays from this period, there is a glue-stained title logo stat. The art is signed in the lower right margin.
