This strip ran in American newspapers from January 28, 1952, to February 1, 1953, and was unexpectedly canceled after 372 days. The series included daily strips in black and white—and full-color Sunday pages. Both formats followed distinct storylines.

Terrific daily! As revered as Frazetta is, I don't think he gets enough credit for his cartooning abilities and all the great, goofy but human characters he cooked up over the years. Ma and Pa Bottle are so well conceived and so much fun. Plus the pine tree silhouettes at the right are divine. Congrats!
