Sienkiewicz, with this iconic painting, produced a fitting tribute, not only to Superboy, but to times past. The book itself may not be from my favorite period, but the cover brings back memories from what I believe were better times. (I suppose, like Mad Magazine, the "best" period is often around the time when you first started reading the book.)

This painting is absolutely AWE-INSPIRING...definitely one the most iconic LEGION covers of the 1980's...a Grail cover by any definition!!! Congratulations on this spectacular addition to your collection!

This and the cover for the hardcover edition of History of the DC Universe are my two favorite Sinkiewicz covers. Such an iconic cover and story.
