Fantastic Horsemen VS Monster page by the incredible Buscema/Alcala duo (whith two quick shots of Conan fleeing on horse). My first Alcala page and one with a terrific inking job. The details on every part of the artwork is amazing. A shame I missed one of the following page (page 22 - bottom number wise) currently owned by a french of which I forgot the name. If you ever want to sell it back... I'm your man ;-) Would make the perfect companion to this one... and one hell of a sequence.

I see that we had the same Childhood readings... so many Conan Lug compilations bought at bargain prices on the french highways during summer vacation trips to calm the little boy :-)

Hi, I'm your french man! Thanks to the french LUG editions I fall in love with Alcala the first day I saw his art in 1976 (I was 13). We fight on the same pages when they were available last years on the web. I got around 20 of them from the good period! But now days they run to high. The good thing is it values ours! (I'm not ready for selling by now. When you will think about selling yourself please let me know)

What a wonderful page! Did you know that the middle image was also published in Conan: The Ultimate Guide to the World's Most Savage Barbarian book by Roy Thomas?
