DescriptionI first took notice of artist Tommy Lee Edward's work in the early 2000’s through his covers for the Star Wars roleplaying game books. When looking at his illustrations, I see juxtaposition of realism and impressionistic styles. The way he patterns the gesso undercoat and uses his lines, create a sense of movement and energy. I followed his work for few years and jumped on some original pieces when the opportunities came my way. This one featuring Darth Vader and I believe a villainous character named Blackhole (First appeared in the Star Wars daily comics) is my favorite Edwards piece in my collection.Social/Sharing |
