In questa tavola ,nella parte bassa ,si può rilevare il viaggio negli abissi del mare del marinaio che cerca di salvare l'amico ,realizzato con mille sfumature e un controllo proverbiale dei grigi.

Well, I've been totally ignorant of Battaglia's work until now. This is a beautiful page - and from searching around for more of his work on CAF, one of the best examples to be seen on this site.
