Description

2004 San Diego Comic Con 11' x 17" commission by the uniquely talented Bill Sienkiewicz. I had actually asked Bill to do a Daredevil sketch, but he said he wanted to do a Batman piece for me. Of course, I agreed. This Batman was the version that Bill had intended to do for D.C. later in '04 or early '05, but I believe the project never happended. Super nice guy! Image scan if from a copy of the framed artwork.

Bill has the quintessential scratchy, dynamic style that pretty much everyone has tried to emulate at some point or another- awesome piece!
