Wow! He really captured the essences of these two characters!

This seems to have been inspired by a previous pinup he did in DC's 'Heroes Against Hunger' book from way back in the day that I really dug, just the poses slightly altered. Anyone have that one? Lovely stuff.

I have a fair amount of his originals, from the unexpected to the more normal. Just love em all! And this painting is definitely oustanding. :)

It'd been a few years since the last sighting original- which, if memory serves, was done on kraftint, and Bill was up for giving it a go in color.

It's been framed and hanging for...I dunno...15 years or so? I've had it for a long time, one of my jewels. Great job getting this color piece, you have to be proud!

I recall it was around the time Bill starting doing shows and taking commissions again after a few years hiatus. At that point I'm pretty sure the last time I saw the original was at least a couple of years- maybe at Mitch's booth? I want to say it was on someone's wall at SDCC. Ah, my brain is stuffed with too comic art minutia.

The true crown jewel of my collection is my Sienkiewicz Unforgiven painting. I'll never part with it.

Mine is probably the Amazing Heroes #99 cover, but Bill is so versatile! I appreciate different pieces for different reasons- as you do I'm sure.

I doubt it, considering how much he's done with her.
