Description

Painted cover to Harris comics upcoming Halloween issue. These are always so much fun as she's far and away my favorite character to paint. Although the wings act as a compositional element that balances out the piece, I was told the publisher doesn't think she looks sexy with bat wings, so I had to promise they would be barely visible. :-)

Dear god, Joe...you made the ball leave the stadium!! Love the cycloptic monsters. You really know how to make the look organic!! I would have loved to see Vampi with wings though...lots of fans miss the wings :(

Joe, I think Vampi would have looked just as hot if not moreso with a big ol' pair of bat wings behind her! Either way this beauty rocks.
