SO as a kid, Nightcrawler was and still is my favorite X-Men. I was a fan of all things X-Men. So when a friend showed me he had the Nightcrawler mini series. I immediately finagled a deal to trade some of my comics for that 4 part mini series. Boy was it a trip! The entire story was pretty strange, but it was a lot of fun. My younger self was a little confused by everything going on in the book. WHAT, Colossus is a pirate and Kitty is some type of wizard WTH????
I would later learn that this was a passion project of Cockrum's. He really put a lot of himself into this book and later on in life. I really appreciated the effort and the work. This page to me, is a great example of the limited series. It has it all. the main bad guy, a lot of the supporting cast. Colossus, Kitty, and even Lockheed. Most importantly, it has some nice Nightcrawler on it and last but not least. A giant BAMF!. I'm very happy ot have this in my collection. I really hope to get more X-Men related artwork soon
