DescriptionIn 1930, not long after the introduction of Tarzan and Buck Rogers as comic strips , the small Bell Syndicate obtained the rights to adapt Sherlock Holmes as a daily comic strip. They followed the format used on the early Tarzan strips of using text from the stories beneath the art in each panel .The Story is the Reigate Puzzle. The artist is Leo Omealia who also did editorial cartooning, a similar comic strip based on Fu Manchu and alter did covers on early DC comic books.Social/Sharing |
