DescriptionI never really thought I would be able to pick up a page from this book.I recall reading it and getting overwhelmed by the drawings of the rain and the juxtaposition of Ororo losing her ability to create rain due to losing her powers. Claremont was in rare form when penning these issues and Barry Windsor-Smith's art created a sense of tragedy, anger and loss as well as moments of hope, comedy and love. Lifedeath was masterful for me. I'm so pleased to have been given the opportunity to pick up a grail from a friend. Thanks A. Social/Sharing |

The great modern BWS look was a shock in the middle of the JRJR run. The story off course is classic, showing Ororo's vision quest and why even without powers, she's a total badass worthy of X-Men leadership. Made all the more special now that is immortalized in X-Men 97.

Word "Grail" is very appropiate in this case! Such an exceptionsl and rare piece of art! Storm looks amazing thanks to that MASTER!!!
