DescriptionA nice page from a very memorable issue from the Thing's Team Up Book - a twist on two heroes fighting with each other. Not sure how often the Thing's "evolution" is recognized in comic lore but I remember it seemed new to me at the time I read this story. Social/Sharing |

Way to go, that's a wonderful pick up! A true gem! The Byrne/Sinnott combo is hard to beat particularly on Marvel Two In One!

It is great to see another page surface from this issue. The Byrne/Sinnott team was very sharp on this issue. Congratulations once again on another great addition to your collection.

Leave it to Byrne to find a new villain for the Thing to battle--himself! Love this page from Marvel Two-in-One #50 where the Thing travels back in time and comes to blows with his old self! I loved the crazy and wild stories Byrne would tell in the books he worked on. I love the whole idea that the old Thing thought the new Thing looked way more human than him! Beautifully drawn page with fabulous Joe SInnott inks to give it the look of the original Fantastic Four! Stunner of a page!

M2i1 #50 was just such a cool Byrne issue, really giving us a taste of what he'd perfect later with his legendary FF run, and this looks like one of the best pages from that issue, congrats!
