Description

Batman original sketch by Frank Miller done in pencil on the inside leaf opposite the signed signature page of a Dark Knight Returns hardcover graphic novel. The book is 1 of 50 artist proofs (indicated by "This is number A/P in a limited edition of 4000" printed) produced for a one time only printing of 4000 in 1986. It was donated by Frank Miller, along with an original sketch, for a charity auction held at Golden Apple Comics. I managed to get Golden Apple Comics to certify that Mr Miller drew and personalised the sketch to the charity auction winner. Batman says "THIS BOOK BELONGS TO BONITA. DON'T EVEN THINK OF STEALING IT." Great find off ebay that is 100% Frank Miller art (not inked by other artists). Looking for pictures of the event at Golden Apple Comics and would appreciate if anyone would send me pictures of the event.
