DescriptionCertainly nice to have a Watchmen page in my collection after a quite a few years of watching the market but never buying.Watchmen issue 4 page 28 (end page) Funny what will push you over the edge to acquire a piece of sequential art - for me on this page, it was the stat in the last panel. I'm with you amazing page Mark - that last stat line is spectacular. The entire series in a panel.

Pages with color guides should never be split. Congratulations. Watchmen pages are things of beauty.

I meant to comment on this page when you posted it 10 days ago. Better late than never, but this is a sweet page from the issue that provided clarity on Dr. Manhattan's actions and insights.

I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! For years I wanted to reunite this page with the previous two but it didn't work out. It's a great one!

As previously stated. This is a true grail for so many. Personally, it may be my favorite page of the entire maxi-series. And this is signed by Gibbons and Moore! I absolutely am in awe.
Thanks for sharing.

If I buy you a watch, can I have this? It will be a budget brand but will tell the time, unlike Dr. Manhattans. All he does is take them apart and drop them.

This page is just fantastic. Gibbons did such a great job designing it to come to life with the unique coloring of the the series and is absolutely mesmerizing in its finished state. It even has the panel which became the cover for the book. What an awesome page to have.

To be forthcoming, the photo panel is a stat - that said, content is King!

While there are many single pages and covers created in the last forty years that would be more highly valued, there is probably no series in which every single page would be universally coveted by art collectors, comic art or otherwise.
While American Flagg! and The Dark Knight Returns were compelling bookends to the maturation of the medium, Moore and Gibbons paved the way for the seismic increase in awareness of the medium that came in the years that followed. Had Watchmen not gained widespread media attention, DC parent company Warner Brothers never would have greenlighted Tim Burton's gritty take on Batman, which paved the way for the expansion of comic heroes to TV, film, and deeper into pop culture.
I have lost track of how many times I read this series. (Sidenote: aside from the missing squid, I think Zack Snyder's film was brilliant.)
This is a long-winded way of saying I love this page - especially this end page with the Einstein quote, and congratulations on being able to have this in your collection.
