Description

I'm a fan of Jeremy Bastian's work especially on Cursed Pirate Girl and this is a classic example. It also happens to be the first CPG commission that Jeremy ever created, see the Additional Images for the provenance! Rob got on board early and snagged this. I'm very happy to have it join my collection.

This wonderful drawing was a gift from Kathy, my Wonder Wife, enabled by Rob Stolzer, art collector extraordinaire. Rob recently put some pieces up for sale and I mentioned - short of casually - that this piece would be a really good Christmas gift. Kathy and Rob made it happen.

I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Jeremy at the NYC ComicCon 2years ago. He was not selling originals at that time. Sweet guy and extraordinary Artist! Wonderful piece!

Yow! What a cool commission! Reminds me of the old children's books I used to find at used book stores, you know like Alice in Wonderland with those amazing John Tenniel illustrations. And the ones from the A. A. Milne's "The House at Pooh Corner." Loved those old illustrations. These are like that.
