DescriptionThis was the very first convention sketch I ever received. When I was in my early teens, I used to set up at the local comic shows. One day back in 1985, I was lucky enough to be placed next to Larry Hama. I knew he was the writer of G.I. Joe, but I didn't know he could draw as well. Well, we talked throughout the day (as G.I. Joe was my favorite book at the time) and he was kind enough to draw a sketch for my friend and I. I got Scarlett and he got Stalker. Now, if only my friend could find that Stalker sketch...This was published in the June 2006 issue (#16) of Back Issue Magazine which focused on G.I. Joe and Transformers. Social/Sharing |

Fantastic sketch! It's neat that over 30 years later Larry is still doing these sketches at conventions. I got a Scarlett sketch from Hama only a few years ago too.
