DescriptionIt's odd becuase early G.I. Joe pages have been harder to find in recent years than pages from early key Marvel books. But, there are a lot of us 40 somethings out there that remember G.I. Joe as fondly as we remember the Byrne/Cockrum/Smith era of the X-Men.For Joe collectors, this is what I consider one of the grail pages - the first page that formerly introduced the Joes to the world from G.I. Joe #1. You can't see the edits on the original, but some last minute changes were made to some of the characters. Stalker was originally referred to as "Ranger," they added a beard and mustache to Rock 'N Roll, and changed Snake Eye's costume. What you'll also notice as an inside joke is the "14th Joe" that was never made into an action figure... a guy named "Shooter" Hey, who was the Editor in Chief at the time... a guy named Jim? This is AWESOME. It brings back a lot of memories. Congrats on the find. If you ever want to part with it... I'll sell my left arm for it.
