a little bit of the story on this piece. I had heard Dale was going to be up in Mass. for a small con around Boston. This was right before he started JSA. I had figured to go and where I got that Cyclone sketch in my sketchbook file. While I was there, he brought out all the skeches he had done for Wizard. He hadn't sold a one. After going through them all, it was between Hawkman and Stargirl. I went with Courtnet because I felt it was more powerful in a heartwarming way, not bonecrushing. His wife is ticked at me now. I keep on buying the peices she wants to keep before she has a chance to tell him. She was so happy I went to Germany for three years.
