DescriptionThis was a page I tried for and lost last last time. When it came around, I made sure I wouldn't lose it. This is a great piece of art and I won't part with it easily. Eddy Barrows is an artist on a rise and will be a super star in short order.Social/Sharing |

Barrows takes a deceptively difficult pose and facial expression and carries it off. The other nice thing about this page is that while Isis is remade for today's audience, she is not overly modernized and Barrow's renditiion of her is faithful to the original while appealing to new readers. Congrats on a sweet page!

While I did not buy this comic, and know little of this new incarnation of the character, a someone who has a great fondness for the old TV show and the DC comic, I got a big kick out of seeing this.

Isis was one of my favorite 1970's characters, and I was pleased that DC brought her back in this incarnation. I agree with previous comments... a difficult pose carried off extremely well! A great addition!

This is well executed. It's hard to draw the head at that angle and keep it looking pretty. Eddy's obviously an artist that is going places.

I think he is doing a good job with Superman. The only thing I worry about is that JMS writing is so.. intricate, others might miss his message and get bored, ignoring a great artist.

This is a great splash because it's one of the few times that a Shazam character actually looks like they're being powered up when they say the magic word(s). Andrea also looks like she's really enjoying it LOL

I like this image of Isis, however his Superman was not to good in my humble opinion.
