DescriptionBiggggggggg Williamson fan. That's what drew me to this era of DD. Not that I knew it then, mind you.The fine lines, the way negative and positive space are combined to create something appealing and how nice were his inks on Romita Jr's pencils. Exactly when his style truly matured...And, of course Ann's stories and how she managed to follow Miller's Dead Again saga were also highly appreaciated. Hence this page. From the "Depressing Lil' Treasure" that was Acts of Vengeance, DD versus Ultron, featuring The Inhumans and Number Nine. As with most pages that catch my eye, it's the little things that matter. The forest, the sky, the characters. Nothing truly happens. But panel after panel, you can't stop wandering what comes next... Social/Sharing |

Your description says it all and I'm sorry I missed this one because it sure deserves more comments.Honestly the execution here is classic and I've stared at this one for 15 minutes before commenting. I'll be back to study it some more.

It was a different market back then. It was one of those pages that I was really excited to have, since I am a very big fan of the Nocenti/JRJR DD run, but ended up letting it go last year or so, due to Covid and extended unemployement. :/ Even so, glad I was able to have it for all these years...
