Description

There's a story behind this wonderful Frank Cho pinup. If you look elsewhere in the gallery, you'll see this art minus Abby. I purchased the piece from Frank way back in 2000 at the Small Press Expo in Maryland. Years later, I asked Frank if he would add Abigail to the piece. He said he's do it and has had the art for several years. It became a running joke over the years and there were times the art was misplaced. But patience paid off when Frank handed me the revised art at the 2022 Baltimore Comic Con. There are lots of fine human beings in the comics industry, but as a stand up and generous guy, Mr. Cho is second to none. And watching his growth over the years, from University2 to today has been a joy. He is a true artist in the classic sense of the word. And he just keeps getting better.
