For a long time I've wanted a definitive Supergirl piece. She's a character I've always liked but, let's be honest, you have to be careful about getting Supergirl art as artists tend to go overboard with her. A couple years ago it struck me, obviously, that I really needed a piece from, for my money, the best Supergirl artist around - Tom Grummett. He always draws her just right, with the perfect mix of beauty, style and personality. And it's never skeevy.

Last year I got on Tom's commission list and waited. To say Tom delivered EXACTLY what I was looking for is an understatement. This is a poster-quality Supergirl that I'm proud to have in my collection.

Thanks to Byron Hamm for setting this commission up and to Tom himself, for giving me something above and beyond what I ever could have wanted.

Grummett has long had a handle on the Superman family that few artists could match. This is a beautiful piece!
