Description

My favorite character from "Astro City" is the ominous Hanged Man. When Brent Anderson announced he was taking commissions, I jumped at the chance for this piece. I've never met Brent so this was the only time I had an opportunity to get something from him!

I can't thank Brent enough for doing this wonderful piece for me!

Back when Astro City was super popular for a couple of years, I was in the mood to try it out to see what all the buzz was about, and a friend recommended the "Confessor" trade, so that's what I bought. It's been so long now that I no longer recall anything about the story, though I do remember enjoying it. But the one thing about reading that trade that has stuck with me to this day, is "The Hanged Man"! I LOVED the character design, particularly with the noose permanently floating along with him, and the very appropriate name. Great to see this, it's so great looking!
