It's been a few years since I've owned a nice Barney Google daily by the great Billy DeBeck, so I'm very glad to add this lovely example from 1923 to the collection. Dated August 13, 1923, Barney has a heart-to-heart with Spark Plug about an upcoming race. Sadly, Sparky lost that race, but I do love the love in the third panel.
