Perhaps he is not really a pilgrim. Maybe he is merely dressed as one, in order to lull our heroines into a false sense of complacency. "Oh look, it is just a pilgrim. Pilgrims are generally pretty harmless. No danger here! I'll just..." FWOOSH! Suddenly our heroine gets a facefull of chloroform spray, and collapses helplessly into the seemingly pious "pilgrim mimic's" arms! His disguise has worked perfectly! How do you like that?

Sneaky pilgrims, you can't trust em. They are almost as untrustworthy as clowns or ...(shudder)... mimes.

Oh, Clowns and Mimes -- the most devious characters on our planet! Perhaps my next commissions will reveal the dangers that we all face (well, particularly, sexy, scantily-clad superheroines face!) from these unspeakably evil deviants that live in our midst. Thanks for giving me the idea -- and, by the way, Panther Girl told me to tell you that you should be ashamed of yourself for coming up with more dastardly opponents to knock her out!
