Description

Edwina would do reportage sketches while out and about, later doing finished versions in mixed-media. In this case she used color pencils and watercolor to capture this woman on a bus tweezing her eyebrows. The character of the woman and her attire is wonderful, playing on the green space beautifully. Edwina's handling of the color pencil and watercolor is just lovely. The colors are rich and layered, and the line work maintains a subtle energy about it. Just beautiful.
