Description

This is one of my favorite Mike Mignola Hellboy pieces and it's one that I "almost" bought several years ago but let get away and had regretted ever since. I actually prefer this piece over some of Mignola's covers and pin ups. I like the beautiful page design where the black and whites form a lightning bolt, I like the energy of the Simon Bisley Blitz character about to pound down on Hellboy, I like that it's the older broader shoulder Hellboy, I even like the cool little flying demon leaping out of the way before all Hell breaks loose. I'm real glad that I had a second opportunity to pick this up and to finally give this piece a home.

Ah, the early 90's. Artists doing original work, jam pieces for fanzines. This one I remember quite well. Nice!
