Screaming Tiki con 2008. 1st year for this show I won't bore you with all the Bat guests but I will post a link at the bottom of post for you to check it out. I went back and forth over wether or not to go to the show. Finally my wife said GO! I dont want to hear you complain that you should have went. I went on Saturday and for a fee you could ride in the Batcopter. I went over to check it out not sure if I was gonna do it or not. I figured it might be a copter made up to look like the bat film. The pilot came over to talk to me and a couple people and informed us it was in fact the actual one that he restored and had the paper work to prove it. He also told us it had never been out of service and was only made up for about 3 months for the film. I did ask him about the wings that were missing and he said they served no real purpose and in fact were a saftey issue and since he was flying it and taking people up in it he would choose saftey over looks. Soooo how could any die hard bat-fan pass up this chance? Thats us taking off....and Ken you were right it's an awesome feeling! I knew you would give in and do it Brian! It was too deep in your blood not to take that ride! I can't tell you how jealous (In a good way) I am that you got to do that! Now for the Batboat and the Batbike! Good times and Great memories on that flight! Thats definately another piece that needs to be framed and on the Bat wall!
