Deathmate represents (at least for me) all that was wrong with comics in that period, but it also featured some cool art -this being a specimen- and it didn't stop me from getting me a tattoo of Jim Lee's cover to the Prologue issue. Very nice acquisition!

It’s my sole example of Rob Liefeld’s work and he did a pretty good job on the faces despite dropping the ball elsewhere. I haven’t forgotten your interest, and you may rest assured, I’ve not sold it ☺️

This is the best back-and-forth I’ve seen in a comment section... Also, man I loved this crossover when it came out. May have to dig it out of the old middle school long box and read it again :)
