DescriptionThis is a HUGE page of art for me. HUGE. Quite possibly the final piece of art from my original art want's list from when I first became aware that such a thing existed. High Cost of Living pages are stupidly hard to come by, and on the rare occasion that they have come up for sale I've been looking the other way it seems.For me, Bachalo on Vertigo is comparable to Kirby on Fantastic Four, Miller on Daredevil, or Starlin on anything cosmic. They might be good elsewhere, but man, they romped the show on those books. "Mayhap I placed it in a duck egg, inside a duck, inside a well, in a castle, on an island, surrounded by a lake of fire, guarded by a hundred dragons each more ferocious than the last...." Enjoy. That page is the heart of the book. Seriously. There's the story right there on the page. That is a wonderful piece. I am green with envy. Enjoy?

its stuff like this that reminds me why I love Neil Gaimans work so much. not only was this a fantastic story but I agree... Chris Bachalo on the Vertigo stuff just rocked it. congrats on an epic page. I am so glad the dialog is on it and intact as well

A sensational page Simon, I believe that as much Bacchalo as Gaiman was especially inspired by this work. Congratulations and enjoy them.

It's hard to be exasperated and perky at the same time, but somehow Bachalo's Death manages to pull it off. It's even got her top hat. Cheers!
