Description

CAF live provided me with the opportunity to commission Rags Morales to give his spin on the infamous Wrightson Shadow ad. I love the black and white rendering of the Shadow. Rags captures the mood of the Shadow perfectly. The Shadow while cloaked in darkness only illuminated by the 2 45's spewing death. Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men, THE SHADOW KNOWS.

It takes mastery of a brush and the understanding of the original to study and break down to pull the lighting off. Rags does the extra step to bring the feel of the pulp era into the piece.

Yeah wow, this is a treat to view. The stark contrast of dark and light is a perfect visual representation of The Shadow. You have a real beauty here, congrats!
