Description

My brother Jim and I attended the super-secret exclusive Barry Kitson Sketch Club event the night before the Emerald City Comicon 2010. Jim requested a Gorgon, and after a bit of pencilling, Barry asked, "Do you mind if I include Medusa as well?" Jim did NOT mind! Barry gives more of himself and his time to his fans than any other creator I know-- he watercolored this piece for my brother as we all hung out and chatted. Thank you so much, Barry!

Jim always comes up with cool ideas for the artists to tackle, and this is no exception. Kitson's Gorgon looks battle-ready, and Medusa is both regal and formidable as depicted here. Great snag, gents!

I must find out about thise Sketch Club. I have been locked out of the Kitson line twice at cons, and everyone else gets such fine pieces as these! Excellent work. Now if only I could score an Emperor Golgoth...
