Craig got to it before I did!!! VERY Mazzuchelli-like! I love it, I can't believe how HUGE a Batman fan you are, Ari. I think it's a very powerful piece, a kind of "serene/action" piece. Both while not contradicting each other in the least. Congrats!

Rude's a very interesting guy in person. I've never met a storyteller with such contempt for modern era comics. He stated that looking at modern comics literally makes him want to vomit. Wow! Anyway, the irony is that he's still producing new stuff and it's great stuff. It's just a good thing that great art never goes out of style- like this excellent piece you have here.
