Ed Benes was one of those must have artists for me. I've always been a huge fan of his work and his name on a book equals an automatic buy for me. So this one is special. Thrilled with Ed's take on my BoG theme! This ones a keeper !

Just as much as I HATED his Superman work, I loved his Batman ! Benes really delivered here. A very strong addition to your fantastic BOG collection !

A cover quality Ed Benes commission; that's my idea of a grail. He is well known for female characters and for good reason but this demonstrates his all round versatility. Such great detail on Batman and the gargoyle; this is in my top five of your collection and that's saying something. Hearty congrats.

Some of the finest artists currently working in the comic book industry today have come out of Brazil and I would put Ed Benes in the top three. A piece like this one just proves my point. It's not just my opinion people, it's a provable fact! As an aside, I always wanted a Starfire piece by Benes, maybe I should try to acquire one in the not so distant future. Keep on truckin', Ari!
