Another year has gone by, and now it is time for my brother Jim's favorite annual Christmas tradition: commissioning a John Paul Leon masterpiece! Here's what JP says about this one:
"Once again, thank you for all the kind words and support. It's a real pleasure to do these for you each year. You must have amassed quite a collection. Are we at the ten year mark yet?
I did enjoy choosing, but I've always wanted to do a Dracula piece and generally enjoy doing a character that I've never done before. Wanted to keep some of the Gene Colan vibe to this one, but I might be inclined in the future to lean a little more towards Nosferatu, or even Bela Lugosi!"

Wow! JPL also stands for Jet Propulsion Lab -- and this piece is a Blast-Off to Outer Space, dude! (incredibly great image by an incredibly great artist)
