Silver Surfer Vol: 3 No: 134 Page: 2 by Tom Grummett

With the life size cast of The Thing looking on, Norrin reaches out to Alicia sleeping before him. Her gift to him, and then his to the entire world, has left the Surfer with the need for expressing what it all means to him, and what she means to him. His hand nears her shoulder and he speaks her name quietly.

The steady rise and fall of Alicia's breath indicate she has not heard him, and after a moment he slowly draws his hand away not wanting to disturb her. Some things, he realizes, cannot be said in words.

The board as desired is at his feet and the Surfer speeds away into the dark and rainy night.
