DescriptionI loved this piece from the second I saw it. John's take on Batgirl here is fabulous, and captures everything I've loved about the character. Here, she is portrayed as youthful, innocent, and having fun.Social/Sharing |

Wow!!! This is nice. Was this posted on Byrne's site yet or did I just miss it?

Gorgeous Batgirl! The line work is so smooth and easy - the work of a master, no doubt.

Great personality coming through. Unique pose. Clever contextual placement/layout. Really good stuff, Ari. I'm not a Batgirl fan, but i'm really impressed with this piece.

Finally, some female representation in your gallery (wink, wink). A very nice one at that. Byrne did a great job with the inks. Cheers! N.

Excellent...I always thought Batgirl had one of THE best designed costumes and it works really well in black and white.

I think the reason I like it so much is that it's not over done with a lot of cross hatching and shading lines like a lot of stuff he inks himself. This is a great piece and kudos to the inker!

Actually, it looks like he inked himself, my bad. Then kudos to John for not overdoing it!
