I LOVE Dr Fate, possessor of comicdom's coolest helmet! Great looking image of him and hovering in front of the giant ankh? Check! Plus everything else you mention in your description. So cool. Picked this up off the stands despite not knowing much about All-Star Squadron or Doctor Fate. The cover was just too cool. And even better now, as OA!
Great design by Todd in his only issue of this title! He excelled early in page design and also cover design while the drawing style was still developing. He moved right into Infinity Inc after this, so he wasn't well known at this point. With Dr. Fate's origin, this is a significant issue all around.
