DescriptionKyle's art is always something that I love to see. The first piece of comic art I ever got (a gift from my father) was some of Kyle's art. His work has changed so much since then (late 1990s) to something with so much depth and detail it is really something that needs to be seen in person, without colors (apologies to Dan Brown who colors much of Kyle's work and does a phenomenal job, but some detail is easy to overlook when it's colored). As a Hulk fan and a Kyle fan I had always wanted a Kyle Hulk cover. There are not many of them that really feature the Hulk and I've never either had the opportunity to pull the trigger on one. Then came this piece. Hulk + (the best version of) Thing + zombies with Hulk being prominently featured. I love Halloween and the sort of classic monsters pose Kyle put Hulk in here. It's the type of Halloween I like. After vacillating between this and the Zombiotes cover he did, I went with this one and am super happy I did. In person the detail is out of this world and, to my eye at least, it is the peak of Kyle's work to this point. The art does come with a patch because apparently Marvel didn't like the guts hanging out of the Thing (see additional images). I've removed it because I just want to have Kyle's original unfiltered vision here. Many, many thanks to Kyle for letting this one go. He's a great guy and someone I consider a friend. Apt time to post! Killler twist on Hulk and Thing and right up Kyle's alley! I'm sure he had fun with this one...it shows. Congrats!

This is insane, Anthony! Agreed, Kyle Hotz's work is so full of detail, easily lost when colored but I imagine it's even more amazing when you can see everything while holding in your hand. No wonder you were willing to let go some of your unpublished Hotz pieces - congrats my friend!

Thanks, T. It is definitely even better in person. Just a lot more presence and depth compared to seeing it on a screen.
