This piece is a showcase of the reasons why I love John K's work so much. Look at those outrageous lines- - he used a Sharpie without relying on any pencil sketch underneath. The audacious, skewed perfection of these lines is a perfect microcosmic representation of the worldview I experienced for the first time with Ren & Stimpy.
