Description

Here's my first opportunity to have an artist do their take on one of my favorite Silver Age Covers. I remember exactly where I was when I bought Mighty Crusaders 4r and where it read it. It had as much impact on me as the cover to Avengers 4 or JLA 21 did. I asked Mike to make a bit of a revision in the cover since I despise the uniform they gave the Comet after they revived and I do mean reviled the character, he was dead. I also asked Mike to put another character in place of Spider Spry,
This reinterpretation far exceeds my expectations, it looks great as Mike played with Mr. Reinmans layout. I thought some of the additions were great like Captain Flag and Steel Sterling. I also noticed that he changed the Wizard's hair slightly giving it a different look that makes him a bit more distinctive. I also liked how he repositioned the Web to give him more play on the page. Also as you can see, Mike, as I asked changed the Comet's uniform to the original and far superior uniform. It is wonderful, simply wonderful.

Unbelievable job. Mike's stuff is just amazing, and I also highly recommend getting a commission from him
